We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dynamic person to join our team. They will be required to work closely with the vascular surgeons, vascular and lymphoedema clinical nurse specialists, vascular scientists/ sonographers, and our administrative team.
Work autonomously to organise clinics, which includes the smooth transfer of patients from bed / wheelchair to examination / scanning couch, independently - manual handling mandatory training will be provided.
Preparing clinic areas, including dressings trolleys and scan rooms, keep stock replenished, maintained, and organise any necessary repairs. To act as link contact as agreed with manager and take responsibility for the relevant duties incumbent to this position.
Assist patients with dressing and undressing for examination, support and observe them during and after tests/treatment. Recognise clinical emergencies and summon appropriate assistance.
To carry out observations such as pulse, blood pressure, respiration rate, weight, height, and blood glucose. To recognise and report any abnormalities to qualified staff using NEWS scoring.

To prioritise workload and work autonomously to maintain high standards of care in a constantly changing, demanding and busy department.
