Support Worker

We are seeking **Support Workers in Salisbury** to join this business immediately to provide support to clients with multiple needs such as learning difficulties and physical disabilities.

**What are the shift patterns for this role?**

This is day service for adults with complex needs and the shift pattern is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, starting time 8:30/9:30 and finishing times 15:30/17:00.

**What will you be responsible for as a Support Worker, Salisbury**:

- **You will promote the independence of people our client supports**:

- **Supporting a full range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking and days out Arranging activities in the local community**:

- **Developing life skills and personal interests of the people our client supports**:

- **Helping the people in your care to stay safe and healthy**:

- **Assisting with personal care needs Supporting people with medication**:

- **Ensuring record keeping is maintained to the required standard at all times and contributing to service monitoring requirements**:

- **Promoting the wellbeing of the people our client support by ensuring a person centered approach to all individual needs**:

- **Providing bespoke support to individuals who are recognised as having additional needs**

**What are the skills required to be a Support Worker, Salisbury?**

Whilst knowledge of learning disabilities and complex needs would be beneficial, it isn't essential, it is essential to be flexible, patient and non-judge-mental

You need to be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to support others to fulfilling their potential
