Full Time (37.5hpw), Fixed Term for 15 months (with progression opportunities available)

Salary £7.49 to £10.42 per hour, depending on age (this is reflective of NMW) plus you’ll achieve an accredited professional qualification (which we pay for), plus great benefits and health cash plan

You'll join our Peterborough service based in Eastfield on the outskirts of the city centre. The customer group at Eastland’s is Mental Health and all customers referred to the service are done so by the local authorities to continue their individual recovery programs. We have a 14-bed supported housing service with 6 self-contained units at the rear of the property.

Our primary aim is to provide housing with support, and you will be joining a very friendly and helpful existing staff team who between them have many years’ experience providing customer support. You could be supporting a customer with their shopping, budgeting, attending appointments or running a group activity to help with engagement.

There is lots for you to do and get involved in, from supporting our customers to achieve their hopes and aspirations, working to bespoke care plans. You’ll go home each day knowing that you’ve made an amazing difference to vulnerable people’s lives.

So, what is so great about this apprenticeship? Well, your wage will be higher than the national apprenticeship minimum wage, so start planning what to spend that extra cash on You’ll be employed for a 15-month period to get stacks of experience and launch your career. You’ll start at NVQ level 2 (equivalent to a GCSE) with a possible progression to level 3 (equivalent to A-levels) and many apprentices secure a permanent role with us. Who knows where you will end up in the future
