**Role/Responsibilities**
In your role as an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and developing the day-to-day IT operations, IT project management plan as well as presenting ideas and solutions to the senior management team.
You will oversee the day to day running of the IT support helpdesk and be required to maintain statistical information on performance.
Experience in a similar role where you were seen as the technical expert
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of a business effectively
Demonstrable experience with the latest technologies including servers, backups, systems, networks, routers, switches, and firewalls
Experience managing large
- and small-scale technology projects within a commercial environment
Good negotiation skills when dealing with vendors, licensing agreements and contractors
The ability to manage, organise and motivate a team effectively in high-pressure situations
Have a good knowledge of the entire IT life cycle
Full UK driving license.
