Lonza are looking for a Technologist to join the Method Development Team on a 12 month fixed term contract. In this lab based position you will be responsible for performing a range of analytical tests, conducting analysis and interpreting results. You will be driving good laboratory practice whilst ensuring customer projects are delivered within the Lonza SLA’s.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Perform range of analytical tests, e.g. ELISA, HCP, HPLC, SPR, Cell based methods.
- Analyse data and interpret results
- Instrument and software set up for new analytical methods
- Critically analyse information and drive good quality, data driven decisions on internal projects
- Perform general department functions (ordering, buffer preparation, risk assessments)
- Equipment ownership where applicable
- Adherence to good laboratory practice including cGMP where applicable
- Completion of laboratory documentation
- Completion and peer review of laboratory documentation
- Participates in IMS Out of Hours rota

**Key requirements**:

- BSc in a relevant scientific/ technical discipline
- Good understanding of working within a GMP environment
- Good attention to detail
- Previous lab based experience preferred but not essential
