Our Client is a leading precision engineering organisation based in Worcestershire. The company currently requires a talented Senior Quality Engineer to join the business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Reports to the Quality Manager, the role will involve Assisting the QM with all/any of the following,
- New Product Introductions including to IATF 16949 levels
- The Continuation & Enhancement of the ISO 9001 Quality Award.
- To assist in the 3 legs of quality i.e., Inspection, Systems & Audits
- Quality training of staff
- To achieve projects within agreed budgets
- Supporting the Sales Team as required.
- Supporting the Engineering Team as required.
- Supporting the Quality Team as required on Technical/Quality/Inspection issues.
- All and every other task within the business as required.
- The development & use of prevention techniques is expected & emphasised
- The training of staff throughout the business in relevant Quality disciplines
- To develop local responsibility for Quality Issues
- To enhance the role of New Product Development Teamwork
- To identify and eliminate waste on an agreed basis
- To become proactively involved with the profitability of the business
**Skills Required**:

- APQP Experience
- 8D PPS Experience
- Experience of Cross Functional Integration with Problem Solving
- CMM Experience
- Cross Sectional Analysis
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Capable of building strong working relationships across various internal departments.
- Ability to use own initiative and be a team player.
- Flexible and Adaptable.
- Effective Communication and interpersonal skills.
**Salary**:

- Up to £42,000 plus company benefits.
