**Salary £30,000 - £40,000 + company benefits **My client is a leading British born manufacturer who specialise in manufacturing lighting for the transportation industry, who are now looking forward to becoming more energy efficient in their work. They are now looking for a Quality Engineer to support theTechnical Director come into the team to lead all quality improvements such as shop-floor and systems.
- Oversee the planning and control of all quality, environmental and health and safety activities and systems across the site
- Ensure effective distribution of quality resources across the site to meet business demands
- Drive continual improvement activities across the business
- Planning, implementation, coordination, and reporting of internal and external audit programs
- Accountable for the reporting on performance towards relevant KPIs
- Lead the quality team through regular performance reviews
- Support the Technical Director in the implementation of the business management systems

**Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience**:

- Hold an Engineering qualification either HNC or degree level
- Accredited Internal Auditor
- Experience of implementing ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
- Strong computer literacy and IT skills
- Good communicator with the ability to collate and report data to all levels of the business.
