Heathrow, United Kingdom First Call Aviation Full time

**SHIFT**: 30 Hours per week (minimum), shift pattern 6 on/3 off - rotating shifts between 04:30am and 23:30pm

**START DATE**: MARCH 2025

**Key Responsibilities**
- Take ownership of a flight and coordinate all the activities related to the handling of that particular flight to ensure a safe and on-time performance.
- Liaise with various divisions such as ramp, cargo, passenger, catering, government agencies, etc. to collate data and to inform them of airlines standards and procedures
- Be the connection between the flight deck and all airport services
- Ensure that the aircraft has been loaded according to the safety standards of the aircraft itself and to structural and flight limitations
- Dispatch all messages as required during pre and post-flight
- Compile and deliver flight documentation as required by the customer
- Conduct regular audit
- You will always promote a professional image. As part of the Load Control Team, you will ensure safe, on-time departures for all partner airlines.

The above responsibilities are not exhaustive, and you will be expected to adhere to any reasonable management request.

**Person Specification**
- Strong communication.
- Preferably previous “weight and balance” experience.
- You will be operating in a busy diverse environment, so you'll need to be able to adapt your communication style to suit your audience.
- Absolute attention to detail.
- An optimistic outlook and a genuine 'happy to help' attitude.
- Creative and open-minded, with the ability to think outside the box in finding ways to achieve outstanding standards of service.
- Computer literate, we work using several different computer systems (DCS), but don't worry you will be given all the skills to set you up for success.
- Being flexible - unfortunately sometimes things don't always go to plan - cancellations, delays, staff sickness etc. - a willingness to be a team player and help the company out so that we can always deliver on our promise.
- At least three years of experience in the Airport environment
- A full 5-year work/unemployment/education references
- Valid Passport
- Proof of National Insurance
- Proof of address
- Criminal Record Check and Airside Security Clearance
