**Financial Controller (ACA Fully Remote)**
Based in London but working fully remote, our technology client is looking for a qualified accountant to join them as Financial Controller (ACA Fully Remote) on a permanent basis.
This job would suit a qualified accountant, preferably chartered, with at least 5 years working as an auditor and or finance/accounting. The Financial Controller (ACA Fully Remote) will support the EMEA Finance Director in the financial controlling and taxationtasks, legal entity and statutory reporting responsibilities for the EMEA organisation.
This company has over 10,000 employees globally with a range of products and brands across a number of divisions with cutting edge technology and ideas with a strong history that spans over 100 years.
The successful individual will have solid working experience with internal as well as external accounts, with excellent English communication skills. They will have experience of European accounting and taxation requirements with some experience with BusinessIntelligence systems.
Previous experience with SAP and running of detailed reports is also preferred. Fluency in another European language is desired but not essential. Willingness to travel to European working sites as needed is required.
Job responsibilities:
- Financial controlling of key focus areas (net working capital, debtors, stock etc)
- Financial reporting including detailed variance analysis
- Leading on annual statutory accounts and audits
- Statutory regulatory reporting
- Tax - VAT and Corporation tax returns and calculations with external consultants
- Transfer pricing administration activities
- Ensuring an adequate internal control environment exists to meet the requirements of the business and internal audit (i.e. compliance with SOX)
- Coordination/Point of contact for statutory audit/Internal audit.
- Balance sheet reviews and analysis.
- Project activities and functions to support business performance.
- Relationship management with external advisors and auditors in all areas relating to Statutory accounting / tax and compliance.
