**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Guest Service**:

- Greet guests as they arrive and ensure they are seated promptly.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations upon request.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Check on guests periodically to ensure they are enjoying their meal and take action to correct any problems.
- **Order Management**:

- Use POS systems to accurately enter orders and process payments.
- Ensure that all orders are correct and delivered to guests promptly.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions securely.
- **Cleanliness and Maintenance**:

- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and efficiently.
- Assist other servers and team members as needed, including during peak times.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall dining experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or similar establishment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods during shifts.
- Manual dexterity for handling small objects and equipment.

**Work Environment**:

- Fast-paced restaurant environment with exposure to various kitchen equipment.
- Interaction with guests and team members in a bustling dining area.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
