**Support Worker - Longnewton**

**Are you looking for an opportunity of permanent employment within a fantastic care organisation?**

We understand that people with autism may see, experience and understand the world around them in a different way to people without autism. We gain an understanding of each person, enabling us to know how we must change in order to communicate successfully and to provide the best support for them.

You will be responsible for supporting individuals with autism, working within their own set routines and help promote their independence. You will be managing the delivery of personal support to the best of your ability, all the while building strong and trusted relationships with our service users. This will allow each of our clients to feel confident and comfortable within your care.

Due to our fantastic countryside location, this is the ideal area for you to accompany our clients on walks or drives exploring local surroundings. Our clients love to be kept busy with exciting activities, and we do everything we can to support this. With that in mind, you will have the opportunity to head off on trips to the cinema, bowling, feeding the ducks or take a train ride to somewhere further afield.

You have the opportunity to work both weekdays & weekends on a full-time basis, with the end goal of a permanent position further down the line, if you wish to accept. All we ask in return is that you are the type of person that feels making a difference in someone's life is the priority on shift, so that they can enjoy every second of every day.
