**Job Summary**

**Planning Projects Officer Band D £31,617 to £35,682 Permanent**

We are looking to appoint a Planning Projects Officer to initially focus on Nutrient Neutrality and the technical assessment of reports and data. You will use established but complex calculators and models to guide applicants and the team on the level of mitigation needed to support the delivery of planning permissions.

You will therefore need the ability to interpret complex environmental reports and the confidence and skills to communicate and negotiate these and other matters with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders; and be able to demonstrate good organisation and project management skills. A good general understanding of planning and environmental legislation which this post will operate within is desirable but not essential as this can be learned.

Essential Requirements:

- Minimum 3 A levels or equivalent; GCSEs to include English Language and Maths or NVQ Administration Level 3; or equivalent relevant experience in a planning or related environment.
- Demonstrable experience and ability to interpret and analyse complex data and environmental information.
