Do you have what it takes?

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of tax packs for the UK entities
- Assistance with corporation tax compliance
- Assistance with R&D credit claims
- Undertaking tax technical research for wider projects
- Liaison with other departments when necessary
- Data collation and liaison with the UK external tax advisors
- Providing day to day assistance to the group tax accountant
- Assisting in dealing with correspondence from HMRC
- Assistance with transfer pricing compliance
- Assistance with the preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of annual intercompany service agreements
- Assist with tax audits
- Ensure that company documents and filings are compliant with local regulations
- Ad-hoc tax analysis

To be successful at Alfred H Knight, you will need to display the following:
Required Qualifications, Skills
- Currently studying AAT/Qualified AAT looking to specialise in Tax
- Ability to work under pressure, ensuring compliance with deadlines, establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with department staff and non-finance staff
- Attention to detail
- Business focussed and motivated to learn
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, manage and prioritise workload to ensure all key deadlines are met
- Strong excel skills

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 5 pm with 1 hour for lunch. Hybrid working arrangement.
