Nexus Security are currently recruiting for a Control Room Supervisor, for Europe’s largest infrastructure project, HS2, in the Coleshill area.

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining CCTV surveillance equipment, watching both live and recorded video footage. You will make appropriate pro-active and reactive responses by reporting incidents or suspicious behaviour and contacting the authorities when necessary.

Reporting to the Site Manager, your duties will include:

- To supervise the daily Control Room operations
- Directing the response to Security and safety Incidents
- Preparing reports and evidence in case of security and safety incidents
- Planning and organizing daily/shift routines and activities
- Develop and implement the control room policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment
- Ensure Control Room staff and equipment are ready for any type of incident
- Keep the control room and personnel appearance up to the established service requirements

You will work closely with Security staff and other agencies to aid in the early detection of security, criminal and emergency inciden

**Requirements**:

- An SIA CCTV Operator (or higher) licence is essential
- experience in in a CCTV/Traffic control environment
- Experience working in a construction environment is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised and highly focused
- Good telephone manner
- Above all, you will need a calm, accurate approach to your work

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
