We are partnering with a primary school in Tower Hamlets looking for a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant. This position is perfect for someone with prior experience in speech and language support or a strong interest in helping students overcome communication difficulties.
Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Job Summary
- Full-time term time only Speech and Language Teaching Assistant role | Long term contract until July 2025
- Role paying £480-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
- Experience working with children is desirable
- Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Linguistics degree from a top 20 UK University

Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Job Role
- Provide tailored sessions to small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis
- Provide support to students with communication difficulties and varied SEN
- Collaborating with the SENCO, teachers, and external speech and language professionals to implement intervention programmes.
- Ensure that students are getting the support needed and monitoring progression of these students
