**JOB TITLE**: Receptionist _**(40 weeks per year)**_
**REPORTING TO**: Head of Admissions and Administration
**JOB PURPOSE**:To act as first point of contact for all visitors and callers to the School, ensuring that they are greeted and dealt with in an appropriate manner
**Term time only (35 weeks) plus 5 weeks during non-term time**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Meet and greet visitors to the School, ensuring that they are welcomed appropriately and directed to the necessary department and that any Health and Safety considerations are met
- Ensure that all School noticeboards are up to date and maintained to a high standard of presentation
- Co-ordinate all matters relating to absence of pupils, including but not limited to authorised absence communication, pupils’ absence lists and providing lunch numbers to catering
- Distribute in coming post and process outgoing mail on a daily basis
- Organise the distribution of letters/communication to parents
- Provide administrative support for School trips and events
- Assist in the co-ordination of all room bookings for shared spaces, in line with timetable requirements
- Assist in the completion of official documentation required by DfE or other bodies
- Produce visitor and pupil badges, as required
- Assist with administration for Parents Evening
- Provide administration support for Medical staff, as required, including but not limited to Immunisation programme and Hearing tests, liaising with Warwickshire Health
- Support the work of the Administration department, as required
