Mpeople are currently recruiting for an experienced **Machine Operator** to join the expanding team of our Glossop based client on a full time, permanent basis. This role will work on a 2 shift rotation, including both days and nights.

Training will be completed on days before shifts commence.

**Role**: Machine Operator

**Location**: Glossop

**Salary**: £28,000 to £32,000

**Hours**: 48 per week. 6:30am to 6:30pm 6:30pm to 6:30am, Monday to Thursday

**Your role as a Machine Operator will include**:

- Operating machinery to assist with the manufacturing process
- Working at the end of the line to ensure finished products are checked and packed before dispatch
- Performing quality checks on finished products, testing suitability and ensure they meet the correct standards
- Labelling finished products and packaging
- Changing the line where necessary
- Supplying raw materials
- Storing finished products until they are ready to be dispatched
- Handling FLT
- Completing manual handling and lifting tasks where necessary
- Overtime available

**Skills required for this role**:

- Must be physically fit as this is a demanding role
- Previous experience operating machinery is a must
- FLT experience is ideal
