**Purpose**:
The Training Machine Operator will work closely with the Technician and Team Leader and liaise with the production team to ensure optimum performance as required to meet production outputs and that machines are set up correctly to reduce potential quality defects and issues.

**Shift patterns**:
Currently 5 x 8.15hr shifts rotating days, night & afternoons, these could change in the future.

**Job Summary: / Duties: Whilst under supervision of the Technician and Team Leader as follows**:
**1. **Ensure the provision, maintenance and operation of optimum operating capacity to satisfy production plan requirements, both current and projected.

**2. **Ensure all lines running are run to correct safety standards to deliver agreed production plans to the agreed company standards and procedures.

**3. **Ensure that all products are produced to set quality standards.

**4. **Ensure all preventative maintenance is carried out and documented using the Team Leaders task document.

**5. **Ensure all raw material is correctly controlled

**6. **Ensure all documentation is fully filled in and always correct across your workstation.

**7. **Liaise with Technician & Team Leader to ensure correct products being run.

**8. **Ensure all mechanical faults are reported to the Team Leader/Maintenance.

**9. **Any other duties as requested by a senior person.
- Experienced of working in the position of Plastic Extrusion / Injection moulding is preferred but not essential.
- Experience of Working with and Operating machines.
- Must have good verbal and written communication Skills.
- Be proactive and show initiative in taking on and completing projected targets.
- Process Evaluation experience required along with a hands-on approach and experience operating machinery.

**Salary**:
Starting at £11.99ph = £26,186 p/a.
