**Job Overview**

Due to the expansion of our setting we will now be expanding our hours, which means we have a vacancy available at our setting.
- to 5 years, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

We are a term time only setting with the possibility of expanding and offering holiday club.

**Duties**
- **Supervision and Safety**:Supervising children during arrival, departure, and throughout the before/after school session, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- **Activity Planning and Implementation**:Planning and leading a variety of age-appropriate activities, such as games, sports, arts and crafts, and quiet time activities, based on the children's interests.
- **Positive Relationships**:Building positive relationships with children, providing support, and helping them feel settled and comfortable at the setting
- **Communication and Collaboration**:Communicating effectively with parents, caregivers, and other staff members regarding children's needs, progress, and any concerns.
- **Maintaining a Safe Environment**:Ensuring the setting is safe, clean, and organized, and following all relevant health and safety procedures.
- **Supporting Children's Development**:Encouraging children's social, emotional, and physical development through play and interactions.
- **Following Policies and Procedures**:Adhering to the policies and procedures regarding child protection, health, and confidentiality.
- **Snack/Meal Provision**:Preparing and/or serving snacks
- **Record Keeping**:Maintaining any necessary records, such as attendance or incident reports.
- **Being responsible to open and close the setting**

**Experience**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £12.85 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
