Owls Playworker ( After School club) – Permanent - Time Only

We are looking for friendly and experienced Playworkers to join our After School Club (Owl's) at The King's School, Chester. This is an ideal role for a person who is seeking part time work within childcare.

Key tasks and responsibilities will include:

· Planning and providing safe and creative activities for the club

· Administering first aid as appropriate

Your Skills

· Level 2 qualification in childcare or willing to work towards this (this is an excellent opportunity and the school will provide funding for you to study this qualification)

· Have experience of working with primary and infant school aged children

Hours of work

12 hours per week - Owls - 3-6pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 3:00–6:00 PM - term time only

Salary - £12.45 per hour

Closing Date – 9am Friday 28th November

The role is deemed to be in regulated activity with a high level of contact and responsibility for children on a day to day basis.
