Finance Accounting Principal Coordinator

**About this role**

We’re excited to have an opportunity in our Finance team for a Finance Accounting Principal Coordinator. You’ll partner closely with a range of stakeholders within UK Finance as well as US Finance and the wider business. You’ll own daily and monthly processes relating to UK Balance sheet reconciliations, in addition to supporting project work.

As part of the UK Accounting team you’ll develop knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting, with responsibility for journal preparation, building a wide range of Finance skills within a diverse role.

We’re looking for someone with numerical skills and experience owning a process, who is looking to succeed in a career in Finance.

**What you’ll do**
- Ownership of UK Balance sheet reconciliations and related accounting journal entries
- Support with Month End close including journal entries, both US GAAP and IFRS
- Provide support on business wide project work related to your role
- Perform relevant key controls testing as set out in our risk management system of record

**What we’re looking for**
- Someone keen to progress their finance career including studying for their finance qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Some experience in a Finance role is preferred
- Able to demonstrate strong numerical skills through educational qualifications or work experience
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience owning and running a well managed process with multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable with using multiple systems
- Ability to work on your own initiative and manage own time across multiple tasks
- Proven ability to build strong relationships within team, wider department and offshore teams

**Where and how you'll work**

This is a permanent position and will be based in our Nottingham offices. Our hybrid working model offers you the flexibility to work from our offices and from home, when you need to.

We're big on collaboration and connection, and so generally encourage our associates to use our offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The number of days you spend in the office will usually be led by the type of work you’re doing, and the hybrid working patterns of the people you partner most closely with.
