Team Leader - Semi -Independence

**Job role**: Team Leader
**Location**: Trevone House, Gloucester (City Centre).
**Reporting to**: Head of Operations
**Salary**: £36,400
**Working pattern**: You lead one of 4 teams on a rolling rota of 12 hour shifts from 7.30 - 7.30, 3 on, 3 off alternating between days and nights with weekends included. Eg 2 sets of day shifts with 3 days off in between, followed by 2 sets of night shifts with 3 days off in between.

Homes2inspire Ltd, are part of Shaw Trust Group, a charity which helps to transform the lives of young people and adults across the UK.
Trevone House is Gloucestershire County Council’s flagship, semi-independent accommodation for young people aged 16 to 25. We provide care leavers, the very best pathway to a brighter future, in addition to giving specialist support to those needing help at a time of crisis.
In addition to 19 flats for young people leaving care, Trevone House has a well-being suite comprising of two specialist flats for young people who need additional support with their mental health needs. There is also a PACE/Emergency bed for young people in times of crisis.
As a Team Leader you will ensure the delivery of the bespoke services to support young people residing in Trevone House.
Previous experience within this field or a related role is essential. We welcome applicants that we feel have transferable skills and the right characteristics, aptitude, and life skills to work with our young people.
A full UK Driving Licence is preferred to support young people with activities.
What are we looking for in you?
- Passionate and enthusiastic approach to the delivery of Children’s Services and helping young people
- Clear understanding of the impact of childhood trauma on young people’s holistic development
- Strong leadership qualities, experience of managing and supervising staff
- Ability to be flexible and think “outside the box”
- High commitment to own professional development as well as supporting others (staff and young people) to achieve their potential
- Safeguarding management experience, particularly in relation to young people and vulnerable adults
SKILLS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
Technical competency (qualifications and training)
Level 4 E (Or committed to achieving within 12 months of appointment)
Level 5 Leadership and Management. D (or committed to achieving within 12 month of appointment)

You will be supported by Homes2Inspire to get the training and qualifications needed for you to carry out your role, including full induction and initial training before commencing work on shift within Trevone House.
During your career with Homes2Inspire you will receive further support with your continuous professional development in the form of:
