We have the opportunity for you to join our team as a QC Supervisor working 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday on a Permanent Contract and occasionally work on Saturdays.

You will be responsible for supervising the QC team and be responsible for delivering high levels of GMP, food safety, legality and authenticity standards within the factory.

**Key Task**
- Manage and lead the QC Team maintaining strong leadership, always ensuring that a well-structured and motivated team is in place.

To maintain GMP and driving the best standards across all functions
- To conduct Internal Audits across all areas
- Support the continued development of the Quality Management System, working closely with the Quality Manager and other members of the Technical team.
- Investigate and communicate any quality/legality issues on raw materials, work in progress and finished goods.
- To ensure that effective cover is in place for Night shift and Saturday’s working when required.

**About you**
- Food degree or equivalent qualification or relevant experience
- Qualifications in Food Safety, HACCP and Food Hygiene are highly desirable Internal audit experience.
- Relevant food manufacturing experience
- Allergen awareness-implications / related to labelling.
- Knowledge of Weight legislation.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to use computer programmes including word, excel and related technical IT packages.
- A self-starter able to use of own initiative with a pro-active approach People Management & Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Problem Solving skills.
