We've partnered with a specialist family run food business who are experiencing phenomenal growth to find a talented Quality Assurance / QA Supervisor to join their team and champion their commitment to quality and safety. A new headcount to the team, the Quality Assurance / QA Supervisor will report to the Technical Manager and oversee and lead a team of QAs working closely with production and NPD teams to uphold the highest standards across the business. Quality Assurance / QA Supervisor responsibilities include: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Champion a quality-first mindset across the entire organisation. Collaborate with other departments to investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing effective preventative measures. Own quality control procedures, ensuring they align with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Manage audits and inspections, taking ownership of corrective actions and improvements. Oversee all testing protocols, including microbiological and chemical schedules, and ensure complete traceability. Investigate and resolve customer complaints with a professional and timely approach. Assess and approve raw materials and equipment to guarantee they meet our stringent quality standards. What We're Looking For in the successful Quality Assurance / QA Supervisor: Proven people leadership experience in a QA / technical role within food manufacturing. Extensive knowledge of Food Safety and risk assessment. A collaborative leader with excellent communication skills. This is a Monday to Friday days based role, 8am-5pm.
