Position: Courier Coordinator

Job Description.

DCG UK runs 5 fulfilment centres in the UK, and we’ve been working with well-known couriers for our clients. This role is seating between our ops team and couriers to handle daily operations requirements and deal with delivery defects.

Duties include the following:
1. Planning daily collections for DCG UK and 3rd party contractor fulfilment centres with couriers based on tender and expected outbound volume, make sure certain collection KPIs are met.

2. Monitoring daily collection operations, communicating with all sites and ensuring collections are running as planned. Liaising with the courier's planning team for any collection issues.

3. Monitoring parcel delivery defects, such as failed delivery, lost, unscanned, damaged, etc. Communicating with the courier's relevant department to sort out delivery defects.

4. Assisting the accounts department regarding courier’s invoice enquiries.

5. Any other ad-hoc duties related to couriers.

Skills Required:
1. Excellent customer service manner.

2. Previous courier operations team or planning team experience required.

3. Experienced Microsoft Excel skills.

4. Understanding the claims process with each courier.

Position Location:
Coventry. In this position you will need to be on site, so Working From Home and Hybrid Working are not compatible with this position

Working hours:
0830-1730 Mon-Fri.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
