Job Introduction Sodexo Live have an exciting opportunity for an** Event Coordinator** to join our amazing non-matchday sales team based at **Hampden Park, Scotland National Stadium**
Reporting into the Sales Manager you will handle the full planning and coordination of all non-matchday events from time of booking, demonstrating enthusiasm, knowledge, and an ability to identify and match customer needs to venue event solutions. You will be an excellent organiser with a passion for providing first class customer service. You will display confidence and professionalism throughout the customer journey, including carrying out detailed venue showrounds, employing upselling techniques and delivering results as part of a high performing sales team.

**What you'll do**:

- Exceed targets by providing customers with a motivating and exemplary sales experience
- Develop existing accounts and engage with them to increase their commitment.
- Pro-actively win new business via sales of self promoted venue events
- Achieve up sales revenue targets
- Manage event payments
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM system
- Provide a first class level of customer service

**What you bring**:

- A proven track record in an event planning /sales/admin role
- Knowledge of the Glasgow events market
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent communication verbal & written skills
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent time management and organisational skills in order to prioritise various job demands
