- Accommodation cannot currently be provided by DAATCL at the Exeter Airbase. You are therefore required to reside within a distance of 45 minutes from the Exeter Airbase or be able to establish and pay for your own accommodation within 45 minutes from the Exeter Airbase for each of your shift runs from this airbase.

**The Role**

We have a new vacancy for an experienced H145 or EC135 HEMS Line Pilot to join our Flight Operations team at DAA. This role will report to the Head of Flight Operations / Senior Pilot and will work on a single pilot operation on behalf of Devon Air Ambulance Trading Company. Our line pilots engage with day and night operations within an approved FTL shift pattern, ensuring the team are ready to respond to the people in Devon. The shifts will typically be 4 on 4 off and will be a mixture of day and night shifts.

**Essential Requirements**

Either a current UK CAA ATPL(H) or UK CAA CPL(H) with Instrument rating
A minimum of 1500hrs as Pilot-in-command of aircraft
A minimum of 500hrs as pilot-in-command on helicopters
20hrs VFR at night as pilot-in-command
UK CAA Class 1 Medical

**Desirable Requirements**:
Previous experience in a similar role
NVIS experience
H145 or EC135 type rating

Plus an additional night shift allowance of £100 per shift.
