The Role
- This is a senior post reporting to the MD and also working closely with the director of marketing to source, collate and pitch relevant content.
- Assist the MD in various PA related duties.
- Drive forward the fashion story and the vision of the Foundation.
- Work with the Centre for Social Justice, a respected Westminster think tank
- Devise and implement PR strategy, media campaigns and respond to all press enquiries
- Produce engaging well written releases, maintain and build our network of relevant journalists.
- Manage media visits/ events
- Speechwriting
- Based in Alfreton although some working from home might be appropriate as well as some travel to London

The Person
- A background in PR or journalism, you will be an accomplished PR professional, writer or broadcaster
- Experience in TV, Radio and press liaison helpful as well as networking and social media
- Several years previous experience in public relations, journalism or communications.
- Good school/University qualifications
- Articulate, outgoing, creative and bright, you will be confident in your ability to maximise PR opportunities.
- You will be familiar with relevant current affairs.
- A team player with strong communication, organisation and planning skills
- Knowledge of the fashion industry, sustainability, social mobility and current affairs would be an advantage.
