**Building Surveyor | Camden | Up to £43,000**
We have a great opportunity with a large housing association based in Camden. They are looking for 2 Building Surveyors on a permanent basis.
**Salary**: up to £43,000, based on experience.
This role is to carry out detailed surveys and drawing up specifications for the organisations residential and commercial assets, identifying and resolving property related risks such as legal disrepair, complex cases and managing property reinvestment projectsusing a variety of contractor-based procurement models.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identifying and resolving property related risks, disrepair cases and complex maintenance cases, putting controls in place, and ensuring those controls are maintained. Carrying out detailed surveys and drawing up specifications of work for the housing associationsresidential and commercial assets.
- Managing property reinvestment projects using a variety of contractor-based procurement models in their stock.
- Carrying out other professional building surveying duties and offer other technical guidance and support to adjacent owners, developers and across all departments
- Deliver allocated projects ensuring they are delivered on time and in budget whilst ensuring high quality of work and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Carry out other on-going professional building surveying duties including party walls, boundary disputes, disrepair and statutory notices and lease management.
Qualifications:
- HNC in Construction, HND in Construction and Property. A building topic-based Degree or other property focussed industry recognised qualification.
