Accounts/customer Sevice Administrator

A full time opportunity has arisen within our business - based in Malton, North Yorkshire - for an accounts administrator within our Customer Service team - your prime focus will be to assist with accounting activities.
We are looking for a conscientious team member who will focus on providing excellent service to both external and internal customers.
The role will mainly consist of:
- Processing sales and purchase invoices
- Credit control - following up with customers to ensure prompt payment
- Assisting with customer queries and supporting other team members where necessary
- Assisting with cover for other staff holidays and sickness
- Any other duties as required
- be friendly, approachable and outgoing
- work well in a team, but have the ability to work independently
- have an excellent, confident and polite telephone manner
- have the ability to be able to work well under pressure
- be able to communicate at all levels
- have knowledge and some previous experience of accounting processes - knowledge of Sage 200 would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given
Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5:00pm
SALARY NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

**Salary**: From £19,000.00 per year
