Ambulance Care Assistant

**Job Details**:
Ambulance Care Assistants provide patients with much more than just transport. Our crews offer reassurance, comfort and kindness for patients who are often anxious or in discomfort due to their treatment or medical condition.
Going into hospital can be a traumatic or stressful experience for many patients. As an Ambulance Care Assistant you can be a friendly face and someone patients can talk to - this emotional support can make a real difference.
We care for thousands of patients every single day, each with their own stories to tell. From war veterans to milkmen, as a Ambulance Care Assistant you get to meet many fascinating and inspiring people, and not only that, you get to play an important role in their healthcare.
No two days are the same for a Ambulance Care Assistant. Every patient is different - not only in the medical support they require but also in their personalities, circumstances and emotions. Ambulance Care Assistants are able to communicate with all of these patients, whether through building rapport to put them at ease or reassuring them about any anxieties
If you understand people, if you are interested in meeting new and inspiring individuals in your community, if you would like to learn new skills and be part of the healthcare service
