**PE & Wraparound Educator (Cambridge Lead Role)**

**Location**
The Spinney Primary School (PE delivery + after-school clubs, term time)
Optional: Additional Home-Ed, Alternative Provision (AP), or holiday camp delivery as provision grows
Optional: Remote or office-based admin hours (depending on skills and business needs)

**Hours**
Term Time: Thurs & Fri delivery (PE + after-school club) - approx. 10-12 hours per week initially
Additional hours available as provision expands (Home-Ed, AP, wraparound, admin)
Non-Term Time: Opportunity to support or lead EcoCoach Holiday Camps
Average 20-25 hours per week once combined with admin/other delivery (hours may vary slightly)

**Pay**
£12.21-16/hr for curriculum PE delivery
£12.21-14/hr for clubs and enrichment
£12.21/hr for admin/planning
Paid monthly (PAYE)

**Role Overview**
This is a site-lead role for a motivated coach ready to take responsibility for PE and activity delivery at The Spinney. As the PE & Wraparound Educator, you will:

- Deliver high-quality, inclusive PE lessons (currently Thurs & Fri), using EcoCoach schemes of work and adapting for SEND where needed.
- Lead after-school clubs that are engaging, structured, and inclusive.
- Take responsibility for operational quality — registers, reporting, resource prep, and liaison with school staff.
- Option to contribute to Home-Ed, AP delivery, or wraparound care as provision grows.
- Champion child-first, Play Their Way coaching and uphold the highest safeguarding standards.

**Person Specification**
- Essential_
- Experience delivering PE, sport, or physical activity to children.
- Confident behaviour management and safeguarding knowledge.
- Ability to adapt sessions for SEND and diverse groups.
- Reliable, professional, and motivated to uphold EcoCoach standards.
- PE/sports coaching qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or above).
- Desirable_
- Experience running after-school clubs or wraparound care.
- Knowledge of Play Their Way and child-led coaching approaches.
- Forest School experience or willingness to train.
- Confidence delivering AP or Home-Ed sessions.
