**3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud - IT Operations**

Our client, a large wealth management firm, are seeking a Technical Specialist to be part of the Infrastructure Operation team providing operational support and maintenance for on-premise and Azure cloud infrastructure services.

**Technical Skills**:

- Hands-on experience as an infrastructure operations support engineer
- Experience in all aspects of enterprise Windows platform management
- Maintaining and creating comprehensive documentation including process, procedures, how to guides, wikis
- Support and development of core infrastructure services, including
- Windows Server 2016/19
- Cloud Platform (e.g., Azure, AWS, App Services, Logic Apps, API Management, etc)
- Hyperconverged hosting platforms (e.g., Nutanix / VXRail/HPe)
- Backup and Recovery tools (e.g.,CommVault, Azure Backup, Recovery Manager for AD)
- Configuration Management tools (e.g., SCCM, Group Policy)
- Automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Git, Azure DevOps)
- 5+ years specialising in Windows server infrastructure operational support, including administration of on-premises and cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS platforms.
- Demonstrable experience of deploying, configuring and supporting PaaS cloud services
- A Financial/Wealth Management Services background is advantageous but not essential

**Skills**:

- Excellent troubleshooting & diagnostic skills, including the ability to work well under pressure and follow investigations through to logical conclusions
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with other teams in order to understand technical requirements and provide guidance in relation to Windows and cloud-based infrastructure services
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided
- Ability to produce and maintain accurate documentation and a readiness to share knowledge
- Ability to deliver high quality solutions within tight project timelines and SLAs
- Self-starter who is well organised and can take responsibility for resolution of issues that may not necessarily sit within their direct sphere of control, focusing on the experience of the requester/customer
