**I'm currently working with a social housing provider who are looking for 3 Property Surveyors to join their Asset team. These jobs come with a great range of benefits including a £500 welcome bonus and £500 retention bonus each year thereafter. These jobs are full time working 35 hours per week covering either Chester, Merseyside or Liverpool.**
These roles have been created due to a period of growth and changes in government legislation. They are looking for experience Surveyors who can carry out stock condition surveys, manage damp & mould work, and carry out cyclical and capital works projects within residential properties. These roles will involve making strategic decisions in line with the asset improvement business plans to ensure work is being carried out to a high-quality level. You will also manage environmental health cases and suggest appropriate remedies to address any building related issues.
Additional Information:
Permanent role £33,628 starting salary rising to £35,398 after 1 year
PLUS Company Car - wide range of cars to choose from
Hybrid working options mainly comprising of inspections and home working
Experience in Social Housing is desirable but not essential
Training of systems and equipment is provided
Must have:
- A building related degree/HNC/HND professional qualification or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience
- Successful track record of delivering building surveying services, and management of substantial work programmes in a similar environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of Decent Homes, HHSRS, CDM, DDA and Asbestos and Fire regulations
- Working knowledge of building regulations, legislation and current practices is essential
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages, including advanced Excel, Assets lifecycle software, SAP and Visio is desirable
- Must hold a full valid UK driving licence
