**Job Description: Retrofit Assessor (ECO4)**

At Altum we are seeking a **reliable and ECMK-accredited Retrofit Assessor** to join our team, covering Chester and the surrounding areas. This role is key in evaluating residential properties for eligibility under the **ECO4 grant**, helping households access energy efficiency improvements.

**Role Overview**:
As a **Retrofit Assessor**, your main responsibility will be conducting comprehensive on-site assessments to determine a property's energy efficiency and suitability for grant-supported upgrades.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct **PAS 2035-compliant** surveys to assess properties for ECO4 eligibility
- Evaluate insulation, heating systems, and other energy-related features
- Collect and document accurate data (measurements, photos, notes)
- Recommend energy efficiency improvements eligible under ECO4
- Prepare and submit detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure clear communication of assessment results
- Stay updated on **ECO4** guidelines and energy efficiency standards

- Desirable: RICS Surveyor, MCIOB, or Architect registered with ARB

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
