Qualitair Aviation is working with one of our leading Clients in the Aviation Industry to recruit for a Component Sales Executive to join a growing team

Job Purpose:
The Component Sales Executive executes on Landing Gear single component and package sales to airlines and other market players to improve the company's revenue. The CESC constantly evaluates market pricing for the various part numbers and Landing Gear typesto help evaluating stock values, internal cost and sales prices. He/she also coordinates larger component sales activities locally or throughout the network with the respective interfaces and counterparts to ensure a fulfilment per customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Advertise and sell Landing Gear components on single item basis
- Respond quickly and detailed to all incoming inquiries and generally maintain a professional and friendly communication/relationship with our customers
- Constantly evaluate and collect market pricing for individual components by using historical data and proactive research and thus build and constantly update a solid understanding of Fair Market Values (FMV)
- Sales Execution: Coordinate the execution of sales across the global Landing Gear (LDG) network throughout the complete process from getting approvals, sending a quote until accepting the Purchase Order (PO)
- Sales Coordination: Fulfil Purchase Orders (PO) from customers and ensure shipment within local (system) environment to customer satisfaction; coordinate necessary on-site activities, such as inspection tasks and packing
- If necessary, coordinate inspection/repair/overhaul before sale with Event Manager
- Maintain intelligence of market players and (new) sales platforms
- Initiate and coordinate larger component sales activities such as package sales involving all required teams to ensure a seamless experience for the customer;
- Collect data for and create regular KPI reporting around component sales and infer trends and market developments
- Continuous improvement of existing tools and process, within the context of implementing best practices and harmonisation across the network
- Promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
- Present and represent the Company in a consistent and professional way
- Continuously improve processes to increase Quality of Sales (including Records approvals), tracking of sold parts through the shop and sales process and ensure Export compliance

Requirments:

- Experience in the Aviation Surplus market, in either Purchasing, Material Management or Sales roles
- Working with customer-oriented attitude, solution-providing mentality and 'Can Do' approach to overcome problems. Strong selling skills.
- Preferably, experience in landing gear systems and components.
- Knowledge about sales processes, especially for one-off, quick transactions.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, ability to clearly convey the benefits of our products/services to management, stakeholders and customers.
- Effective planning and organisation skills to deliver workload in a timely manner.
- Possess excellent decision-making quality and is able to make independent decision.
- Experience in working and collaborating with a diverse team, customer-focused and service-oriented.
- Ability to work within a corporate environment.
- Strong financial analyses skills and ability to create business plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively and build relationships both internally and externally.
- Must be able to adapt to the changing needs of the organisation
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Microsoft office tools
- Experience in working with SAP ERP systems preferred.
