Caretaker/maintenance

**CARETAKER**

We are looking to recruit a new colleague to our team.

We are vibrant all-age special school for children aged 2-19 who have CLDD (Complex Learning Difficulties and Disabilities). This key role will be responsible for the general maintenance and security of the school and swimming pool to ensure that it is safe and fit for purpose at all times in accordance with health and safety requirements.

**We are looking for a professional individual who: -**
- Has a keen eye for detail and ideally has experience of a school environment within site management and experience of premises security
- Strong organisational skills
- Knowledge of health & safety with NEBOSH or IOSH qualification or willingness to train
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
- Experience of Pool Plant management ideally with a current qualification or willingness to train.
- Imagination and creativity to help us to continue to improve our site and the young people’s experiences in and around the school.

**Salary**: In accordance with APT&C scales, Dorset Grade 6, SCP 6 £23,893 - point 9 £25,119 gross per annum, the appointed point will be dependent on experience.

Pay: £23,893.00-£25,119.00 per year
