ARM are recruiting for an Head of Business Transformation and Continuous Improvement for a permanent opportunity with a Aerospace company in south Wales.
You will be joining a mature environment, where your contributions will have a direct impact on safeguarding the U.K. at home and abroad.
**As a Head of Business Transformation and Continuous Improvement you will be responsible for.**
- Leading our Business Transformation plan is broad, complex, cross functional and throughout all levels of the organisation. It will require priority opportunities with high levels of organisational impact / benefit to be identified within the budget framework.This transformation will set the cornerstones for the future of the company
- Coaching the organisation in developing and driving an effective continuous improvement journey. The role will require the individual to lead a team and engage business leaders in analysing performance, determining processes and tools to improve, and drivingthe programmes and governance to implement the improvements. The role will have a wide-ranging knowledge and experience of problem solving, six-sigma methodologies, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement tools
- Matrix alignment with all business transformation leaders (M3, OnePLM, SHIFT etc) to ensure integration and a cohesive transformational portfolio of projects is maintained
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement and innovation that values learning and a commitment to quality
- Ensure team members of transformational projects, though are not direct reports, receive timely and appropriate feedback, training and development in coordination with project managers
- Providing alignment / support / leadership of the transformation programme, which articulates a clear and compelling vision of change with evidence based business cases including sound financial analysis and resource implications. Work with the businessleaders to undertake continual analysis of the business to expose opportunities for change and improvement
- Provide effective change management leadership and support so that the change vision is delivered in a well organised and structured manner
- Ensuring excellent and robust governance arrangements across all transformation programmes and projects
- Ensuring that the transformation programme is resourced effectively through business engagement and alignment
- Advise / support the SSGB Executive on a broad range of business operational management and leadership events / activities
- Driving continuous improvement within the business and identify opportunities for improvement including deployment of customer improvement projects, lean journey & QRQC (roll out across SGB)
- Implementing a system to enable the organization to train and certify individuals as six sigma green and black belts as well as ensuring a wide pool of skilled personnel in tools such as 8D, RCA and Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC)
- Be accountable for the leading activities for the SGB Executive related to the SSGB BSC deployment

- Business Transformation experience and knowledge
- Lean Sigma Master Black Belt Certification
- Problem Solving 8D
- QRQC knowledge
