Rydym yn chwilio am gynhyrchydd profiadol i ymuno a’r tîm materion cyfoes Cymraeg yn ITV Cymru Wales.

Mae Y Byd ar Bedwar wedi bod yn datgelu rhai o straeon mwyaf Cymru a’r byd ers dros ddeng mlynedd ar hugain. Mae'r rôl hon yn gyfle cyffrous a phrin i newyddiadurwr uchelgeisiol ddatblygu a chynhyrchu straeon ymchwiliadol i’r safon uchaf a thorri straeon newydd sy'n gosod yr agenda.

Gyda chysylltiadau eang ar draws Cymru bydd gennych syniadau gwreiddiol a gwybodaeth wych o faterion cyfoes Cymru a’r byd, a phortfolio o waith ymchwiliadol o’ch gyrfa.

Bydd gennych ddealltwriaeth gref o gydymffurfiaeth a chanllawiau darlledu a’r gallu i weithio yn annibynnol dan amgylchiadau heriol.

Gyda phrofiad o arwain tim a phrosiectau, bydd disgwyl i chi fentora a datblygu straeon gyda newyddiadurwyr yr adran. Byddwch hefyd yn cefnogi’r rheolwyr gyda gwaith recriwtio a datblygu talent newydd. Fe allech gael cyfrifoldebau rheoli llinell os yn briodol.

**Investigative Producer**

**ITV Cymru Wales**

**Full time Permanent role**

**Salary: based on experience**

ITV Cymru Wales is looking for an experienced producer to join its Welsh current affairs team.

Y Byd ar Bedwar has been uncovering the biggest stories in Wales and around the world for over thirty years. This role is an exciting and rare opportunity for an ambitious journalist to develop and produce hard-hitting investigative stories of the highest standard that set the agenda.

With extensive contacts across Wales you will have an excellent understanding of current affairs in Wales and the world, an abundance of original ideas and a portfolio of investigative work from your career so far.

You will have a strong understanding of compliance and broadcast guidelines and the ability to work independently under challenging circumstances.

With experience of leading teams and projects, you will be expected to mentor and develop stories with other less experienced journalists. You will also support the managers in recruiting and developing new talent. You may be given line management responsibilities if appropriate.

Minimum role criteria
- Proven track record of delivering investigations and complex stories.
- Considerable experience in journalism
- Excellent compliance knowledge
- Great understanding of audiences with ideas on how to appeal and attract new audiences to content.

Key role criteria
- Research, plan and produce investigative stories
- Excellent storyteller and script writer with strong Welsh Language skills
- The ability to use diverse and varied contacts to generate original stories
- Good communication and leadership skills to lead investigations with less experienced team members.
