Conference Administrator

We are a small, dynamic, 25+ year old media company based in Kings Cross. This role will be part remote working and part office based (Kings Cross) when required. We are a B2B publishing and conferencing company in the international education sector. Each team member is a self-starting, dedicated member of the company, creating a fun, focused atmosphere.
We are looking for a brilliant conference administrator to assist our sales team in planning our 14 annual B2B events in 13 locations worldwide.
**Responsibilities and duties**:
- Take regular stock of event and promotional materials to ensure adequate supplies
- Coordinate with the team to confirm requirements for upcoming events and ensure items are sourced and packed
- Provide hands-on support during events, including setting up materials, assisting on-site and clearing away afterwards.
- Monitoring registrations and updating customer database
- Updating and amending changes to our website and promotional materials
- Managing client conference and hotel bookings
- Chasing payments in the lead up to events
- Liaising with suppliers such as overseas hotels to finalise event details
- Planning, organising and posting of materials for events
- Researching new contacts for business development
- Assist with any additional tasks as required
- Some overseas travel possible
**Requirements**:
- You will be professional and truly committed to being a team player
- You will have the ability to juggle tasks, prioritise and communicate effectively
- You will have the ability to learn quickly, act independently and provide accurately what is required
- You will be able to provide seamless liaison between the sales team and their clients
- You should have top notch client liaison skills and be able to prioritise your work effectively
- You will have excellent IT skills and good knowledge of MS Office Suite with strong attention to detail
- Be confident with clients face to face particularly in a networking environment
- Possess a can do attitude
Pay : £25,000 per year.
Minimum 1 years’ experience in an office based administration role
Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
**Experience**:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
