Our client is on a digital and innovation mission to provide their customers and people with the best experience possible. They have an ambitious five-year plan, along with the resource and funding to deliver real step-changes in digital experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a fundamental part of one of their biggest digital projects, implementing a new payment provider and fraud engine into their customer website and app.

Your role will be focusing largely on payments and onboard technology. Our client’s digital estate is constantly evolving and expanding, and this role will work closely with the web, app, retail, and other product managers as well as teams across the businessto deliver high-quality products that will enhance the digital ecosystem and provide their customers with a simple, frictionless, and rewarding experience at each stage of their journey.

You’ll also work on other high-value digital projects such as their API gateway, making it easier to get access to their retail systems for third parties and ancillary revenue channels, and unlocking new revenue opportunities. You can expect your responsibilitiesto include:

- Own the feature backlog during project delivery, ensuring specification and prioritisation of features is steered by customer need while balancing commercial aims.
- Advocate both the business owner and the end user throughout delivery and provide clarity on requirements to the delivery team.
- Manage suppliers developing strong working relationships and working to plans and to budget.
- Work with digital delivery to ensure that development projects are delivered in line with the PMO's specified project process.
- Work closely with the accessibility and inclusion manager and external parties to ensure products are fully accessible for all customers and compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
- Work collaboratively with product managers at all times to ensure that digital properties remain connected, aligned, and consistent with other digital customer touchpoints.
- Maximise the value of every product through intelligent prioritisation, and strive to deliver value early and continuously.

**Our client is looking for**
- Demonstrable and extensive experience in the design and build of mobile-first digital products, using Agile methodology, with a focus on digital retail.
- Naturally collaborative, comfortable working in a fast-paced digital environment.
- Excellent communicator, able to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and communicate/influence at all levels to gain project buy-in and engagement.
- Experience of managing multiple digital projects with significant budgets and delivering on time and on budget to the required scope.
- In-depth knowledge of web and app analytics (GA, Tableau, ideally Firebase).
- Demonstrable skills in the latest web, app, payment, and data technologies.
- Ability to guide virtual development teams (agency based).
- Awareness of all key digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, Social, Display).
- Certified Scrum Product Owner qualification (desirable).
