**Are you a Registered Nurse, Occupational Health Specialist, Nurse or Psychologist, or an employability expert with experience of managing a caseload with multiple health barriers? We have an exciting opportunity to work on our IPES programme supporting individuals with health barriers into sustainable employment and changing their lives. We are looking for individuals who can utilise their knowledge skills and experience combined with their passion to support, challenge and motivate to achieve first class results.**
You will be integral to the success of the programme and will provide bespoke support to participants, ensuring that they receive the high-quality assistance they need to enable them to move towards their employment goals. Your aim is to ensure that every participants’ journey into sustainable employment is as smooth and well-coordinated as possible. You will form part of a multi-disciplinary team within your sub region and therefore networking and collaboration will be key factors to the success of the programme.
Intensive Personalised Employment Support (IPES) is a voluntary provision, supporting people with disabilities and complex barriers to find work, sustain employment and make improvements to their health and well being. As the service is a community based project you will be required to travel to take the service direct to the participant at a mutual venue within their community so you will need to be flexible and willing to travel.
An engaging, empathetic and motivated individual, you will have a strong track record of successfully working to targets, along with the ability to successfully manage a caseload of clients. You will understand the local community and the range of services available within it, and be able to proactively engage with employers to source, create and tailor employment and training opportunities.
A good general knowledge base of physical and mental health conditions and evidence of continued learning is required to support participants. Experience working in the employability sector is desirable however not essential for those who can demonstrate the right skills and behaviours. We require a person with a ‘Can Do’ attitude, being target driven, able to think outside of the box, follow up on actions and being passionate about supporting participants into work are essential to making this role successful.
Health 2 Employment (H2E) is an established organisation providing a range of health interventions and innovative solutions to individuals with health barriers to support their progression towards goals and ultimately sustainable employment or manage their health conditions more effectively to retain employment.
