We are looking for a Children and Families Domestic Abuse Worker to join a service that supports young people whose lives have been impacted by domestic abuse in the Bradford district.**

- Survive & Thrive’s Integrated Children’s Service delivers support to children and families and we are looking for a Domestic Abuse Support Worker to work with children and young people, focusing on the reduction of trauma symptoms and rebuilding of relationships affected by domestic abuse.

- **You will work with children, young people and their families to assess their needs and devise a child focused support plan which will help them to achieve positive outcomes and overcome the negative effects of Domestic Abuse related trauma and experience a brighter future. In addition, parents, carers and professionals will understand more about the impact of domestic abuse on affected children and ways in which they can support.**

**Main Requirements (for more details, please see the job description and person specification)**:

- You will have experience of working directly with children, young people and their families where there has been domestic abuse.
- You will have an understanding and experience of trauma informed approaches to working with children and families
- You will have experience of safeguarding risk assessment, identifying safeguarding concerns and following procedures.
