Supply Chain Transformation Manager

Engineering and Supply Chain plans, configures, supplies and fits all the engineering aspects of the Ocado Smart Platform(OSP) into our clients' automated Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) around the world. We create and manage the detailed engineering plans ensuring efficient and effective delivery for our global clients.
The Supply Chain Transformation Manager sits within the Engineering Supply Chain Operations team and is instrumental to building the strategic supply chain capabilities required in order to meet Ocado's fast growth plans. This is a varied and challenging role, with day to day ownership of multiple programmes and projects. The role will have exposure to many functions within Ocado and its 3rd party supply chain partners.
**What will you be doing?**
- Leading and delivering complex and transformational programmes that enable PI to deliver all the engineering aspects of the OSP on time and meeting requirements in the most cost effective manner
- Ensuring the Engineering & Supply Chain transformation roadmap is prioritised, resourced and delivers to plan, including reporting progress and preparation / presentation of Steering Group materials
- Identifying opportunities to improve end-to-end supply chain processes and systems and driving these improvements
- Developing and deploying best practice processes and systems to enable efficient and effective scaling up of the business
- Providing input on how new supply chain trends can impact our business (e.g. digital)
- Ownership and development of key strategic supply chain initiatives
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with 3PLs and suppliers in order to identify future mutual opportunities for service and cost improvements
- Developing metrics to support performance management along the different steps of the processes and identifying areas of improvement through root cause analysis of KPIs.
- Troubleshooting issues and challenges in programme delivery, including analysis, escalation, option assessment and implementation
- Performance management, development and mentoring of key team members.
**About you....**
- Proven record of successfully leading large, complex supply chain transformation programmes in a matrix organisation, building strong collaboration while managing stakeholders and project teams
- Project Management qualifications or demonstrated proficiency in PM methodologies
- Experience of managing project plans, internal processes and budgets
- Expert understanding of supply chain processes - including: demand planning, supply planning, logistics management, Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Advanced supply chain analytics knowledge
- Digital supply chain expertise
- 5-10 years of supply chain experience
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the business context and environment
- Experience with financial business cases for change and rolling out cost restructuring initiatives
**Preferred (in addition to minimum)**:
- Change management experience in complex multi-business unit / multi-geography environments
- Blue Chip, FTSE 100 or Fortune 500 company experience
- Experience in using data visualisation and data analytics tools to support decision making
- Familiarity with agile principles and project management methodology
- Extensive knowledge of the current supply chain technology market.
