**What will I be doing?**

The Plan Specialist role will play a key part in ensuring the wider success of the programme by ensuring that we maintain our client service levels on a day to day basis.

This role is a secondment role for up to 12 months, and will be based in our newly acquired Croydon office for up to 60% of your time, with travel, accommodation and a meal allowance being provided for the time you spend in Croydon.

Reporting to the Operational Readiness lead, this role involves working on the successful delivery of activities related to share plan administration on the Shareworks platform. This is a flexible role where you could be required to work on one of SIP & Sharesave, ESPP or Discretionary share plan administration, and the underlying processes associated to these plan types.

You will be a key part of a team working on Shareworks, carrying out critical activity as we maintain service levels to our clients whilst they await to be migrated onto EquatePlus. The role is on a secondment basis and will be based in Croydon for 2-3 days per week (or as agreed), initially on a 6-month basis with scope to extend as per business requirements.

**Main Duties**:

- Responsible for the structured planning, execution and monitoring of tasks and timely completion of all processes assigned to you in line with agreed SLAs. To include, but not limited to, Data File Uploads, Data Validation and Management, Responding to client queries within agreed SLA’s, Ensuring the successful completion of key administrative tasks such as purchases, contributions, awards, and vests as per the product type that you are responsible for.
- Assist your line manager in building, implementing and maintaining streamlined operational processes on Shareworks, and supporting with translating these processes as part of EquatePlus migration readiness.
- Build and maintain working relationships with internal Relationship Managers and other Stakeholders
- Own and respond to client queries in regard to the clients and processes that you are responsible for completing.
- Maintain detailed documentation with respect at to all related processes and in doing so ensure continued operational control and governance over these processes.
- Gain and maintain strong technical knowledge of all aspects of Plans lifecycle and provide expert advice and knowledge in your specialist area to the wider business and client base in this area. Collaborate and support the wider onboarding employee base and integrate within the team based in Croydon.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the financial services industry, with one years’ experience working in a share plans or financial compensation environment preferable.
- Experience in the handling of significant transactional volume in an operational context, preferably in a complex environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey and articulate ideas to a wide variety of audiences.
- Passionate about customer delivery with evidence of championing and maintaining strong delivery to a large client and customer base.
- Product expertise and experience across Exec & Discretionary Plans, ESPP, SIP or SAYE will be a valued attribute.
- Strong personal and operational organisational skills, able to manage multiple complex activities running in parallel.
- Following the programme structure and support to ensure any non-standard processes receive the appropriate business approval.
