The BRCGS & Quality Assurance coordinator helps to support the day to day business policies, processes and procedures and, strengthen our position within ‘Best in Class’ Business Management Processes. This role will support the Management Team by maintaining the BRCGS license to operator and Quality, Environmental and H&S Systems.
Maintain and ensure systems are compliant to BRCGS Food Packaging requirements, as well as Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001.
Maintain and co-ordinate schedule of internal and external audits for the BRCGS and QMS systems, and working through resultant actions with the team.

Initiate the investigations into non
- conforming items including re-checking and quarantining as necessary. This includes liaising with our internal and external customers.

Become involved in any quality investigations originated in house or through customer complaints/feedback

Maintain a high profile within the factory to promote Quality, leading by example. This will include leading and participating in root cause analysis and working along side all colleagues n the business to stive for Flawless Quality.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports - for internal and external sources detailing statistics, trends and continual improvement strategies. This will include presentation of these to a number of meetings as well as preparing FMEA and continual improvement progress.

Coordinate the site hygiene and cleaning contractors ensuring they meet with contractual requirements as well as organizing any further cleaning requirements on an ad hoc basis.

Experience of working with BRCGS and ISO 9001
Auditing experience or qualifications
Food hygiene qualification and HACCP training
