Quality Freight Services Ltd - Felixstowe, are looking for an Export Co-ordinator to work in house at Bury St Edmunds - Boortmalt.

A minimum of 1-2 years experience within the freight forwarding industry is essential. On the job training will also be provided along with support from the QFS team in Felixstowe.

This role is office based and would require an initial focus on handling sea, air and road freight shipments from end to end. You will also be involved in commercial activities such as quoting and following up with clients. The expectation will be to always provide a personal and professional service.

**Job Description / Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1-2 Years Freight Forwarding Experience in Sea, Air or Road Freight.
- Arranging export shipments with shipping lines & forwarders.
- Arranging haulage and booking in collections.
- Raising customer orders in JD Edwards, raising invoices, packing lists & purchase orders.
- Sending out samples to customers and for analysis
- Working closely with Operations, Logistics providers, Planning and commercial colleagues to ensure customer demands are met.
- Tracking shipments for customers.
- Knowledge of Export procedures.
- The ability to build and maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Must be hard working, flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude.
- Arranging Documentation - BOL’s / Certs of Origin / Country specific Certs / Phyto Certs
- Customs Clearance
- Working With Overseas Customers
- Chasing Payments
- Covering for Boortmalt colleagues as needed
