**Graduate Software Engineer (javascript)**

**Responsibilities**
- Developing, testing and evaluating
- Liaising and providing support to other engineering functions.

**What you will need to succeed**
- A minimum 2:1 in a programming related degree, computer science/software development
- Experience with Javascript and willingness to learn other languages
- Experience with a Linux based operating system, e.g. ubuntu
- Experience using source control, i.e. git
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

**Desired criteria**

The following skills will be valuable but are not essential:

- Experience working with embedded systems, e.g. Raspberry PI
- Understanding of basic networking, IP addresses, sockets, firewalls
- Comfortable with working in a BASH terminal
- Experience with build systems, e.g. Make, Cmake, Bitbake
- Experience with serial communications, e.g. RS485,I2C,SPI,MODBUS
- Experience using gitlab, i.e. Merge requests, CI/CD scripts

**Graduate R&D Engineer**

**Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, document and test robust, efficient and novel algorithms to meet project requirements
- Analyse field data to maintain, troubleshoot and enhance these algorithms throughout the project life cycle
- Communicate methodologies clearly to the teams responsible for their implementation.
- Manage time and priorities across projects, notify stakeholders of progress against plans and adapt readily to dynamic business priorities
- Design and undertake comprehensive bench and field testing of products under development.

**What you will need to succeed**
- A minimum 2:1 degree in Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar discipline

**Desired criteria**

The following skills will be valuable:

- Strong background of Python development
- Experience of digital signal processing techniques, including:

- Time and frequency domain representation of signals
- Filter design
- Strong and proven numerical analysis skills, engineering mathematics and statistics.
- A good understanding of the principles of software development
- Proven ability to solve complex problems using creative solutions

**Graduate System Engineer**

**Responsibilities**
- Technical ability to gain a deep understanding of products and users to make effective decisions
- Support the product vision and direction to engineering stakeholders
- Translate high level requirements into technical design requirements
- Propose High level Design Architectures for discussion and clarification with development teams
- Learn and development ability to Propose Sequence and State Machine Designs for approval with Product Management and engineering
- Manage and prioritise development teams tasks and critical paths to product milestones
- Validated Performance and Quality focused with an understanding of manufacturability of products at design phase

**What you will need to succeed**
- A computer software, engineering (Scientific, mechatronics or electrical) or IT related degree
- Fundamental understanding of the full Product development life cycle
- Ability to solve complex use cases with ability to drive End to End feature benefit from design, implementation
