We are now looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong IT skills to be responsible for the management of all images and reports from our clinical team in the field.

PML use a cloud based PACS with the movement to a RIS/PACS solution imminent.

**Previous experience is not required, all training can be provided.**

We are a highly respected independent provider of community based diagnostic imaging of ultrasound from predominately GP practise across more than 100 sites with 15,000 studies a month which all have to be stored virtually.

The role will be to ensure all images and reports are successfully stored within our CIMAR PACS solution, which will require working with our sonographers and Advanced Imaging Assistants (AIA) for Non-Obstetric Imaging (NOUS) service and our Specialist Cardiac Physiologists for our Echocardiography service.

In addition, you will be action IEP requests that may be made an ensuring they are actioned within the appropriate timeframe.

You will be responsible for PACS managing Role Based Access Control (RBAC), linking with CIMAR the PACS provider (who will provide extensive specialist training on their system) and be available for expert help when needed.

Tasks
- Responsible for ensuring all images and reports are stored within our CIMAR PACS solution.
- Providing First Line support to all staff for image transfer and receipt.
- Ensuring, where appropriate, images are deleted from the imaging modality to ensure the hard drive does not become full.
- Provide support to users on clinical systems including fault diagnosis and resolution, answering queries or requests and guiding users.
- Responsible for IEP requests and ensuring these are actioned in a timely manner.
- Helping other members of staff understand and adhere to the guidelines for data input and safe use and transfer of images.
- The technical administrator will be an expert in all issues relating to and affecting PACS and associated clinical systems.
- Will support in the training and development of clinical and non-clinical staff in relation to PACS when required.
- Dealing with ad-hoc requests as directed by the SMT.
Skills attributes and experience

Essential:

- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- The role holder will possess excellent IT, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of the Data Protection Act
- High level administrative and organisation skills.
- Will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Displays a positive approach to tackling problems and find ways to identify suitable solutions.
Desirable:

- Experience working in the NHS or a Health care environment.
