**Position Summary**
We are currently recruiting an exciting and brand-new opportunity for a
**Social Media Specialist** to join our high performing social media team based at our Gatwick office. Reporting directly to the Senior Social Media Manager, this role will see you work in partnership with our Nestle Professional (NP), out of home business to manage and grow our social communities. Experience of working in a similar role with a B2B focus is essential. You’ll be an integral part of Nestle Professional digital team and be the voice to some of the worlds most loved brands, think Nescafé, KitKat, Garden Gourmet and more You’ll work in an amazing team that’s always looking to drive best in class content when it comes to all things social.
**A day in the life of a Social Media Specialist**
Ultimately, you will be responsible for effectively growing our brands social media communities, across multiple platforms, through the development and delivery of social content and insight to inform why we do things. Delivering world-class community engagement, supporting our overall business objectives and social content strategy to achieve great results.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Management of detailed monthly content plans, including keeping them up-to-date, detailing amends, and distribution to key internal stakeholders and agencies.
- Create and deliver professional and engaging social content in conjunction with our in-house Content Studio team that drives our brands social media equity, positive share of voice and leverages consumer engagement opportunities online.
- Support and execute the social community strategy and direction, informed by the brand(s) objectives and insight, working closely with the wider Social Media and NP Digital and Brand teams.
- Source, curate, and create “Always On” social content for internally-managed brands, and managing approval and publication process, including: copy, images, video, etc.
- Work in collaboration with creative agencies to develop the brands ‘tone of voice’ online whilst managing the day to day relationship to ensure success.
- Understand the changing landscape of social from a B2B perspective whilst building an effective network of content providers across the business (UK and global).
- Champion all things social, providing recommendations and thought leadership to the wider business, particularly our Consumer Engagement Services (CES) team, Brand owners and Digital and eCommerce teams.
- Publish content via Sprinklr, including schedule oversight across multiple brands to avoid content clashes or conflicts.
- Analyse social performance and trends through regular Social Listening & Reporting, for distribution to brand teams and internal stakeholders.
- Create and execute new ways to deliver messaging through social media content.
- Serve as the social voice for our brand(s), responsible for developing organic campaigns daily that really add value with some focus on paid campaigns too.
- Use LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and more to respond and engage with customers and consumers, working with CES, and internal stakeholders to execute flawlessly.
- Support the proactive management of observed emerging issues, working with our Corporate Communications and CES teams to drive, shape and protect our brands and reputation.
- Staying up to date on popular or trending social topics prior to posting to ensure our content output is sensitive to emerging or potentially controversial news and events.
- Support the brand teams to develop capability across all things social.
**What will make you successful**
We are looking for a social media professional with experience in a B2B environment, ideally qualified to degree level within a creative field. You’ll have some previous work experience in this space whether that be within an agency or in-house and be able to demonstrate sound experience of the developing B2B social landscape. Ideally, you’ll also have some photography and videography skills to an intermediate level, with experience using Photoshop, Adobe Creative-Suite & After Effects, whilst being able to constantly push our brands to innovate with content through great creative ideas.
